Detective Chuck Ray is called to Little Rock, to a scene where one man has a gunshot wound in his hand and another man lies dying outside his apartment with a gunshot to his abdomen. The clues point to a serial robber which the police have been tracking. But he doesn't usually shoot his victims. Is it the same guy? Is he becoming more violent? But when another victim shows up a week later with the same matching patterns, the detectives know they must find this guy fast.
